With a Friend Like Rev. Jeremiah Wright…

Filed under: political — Administrator March 14, 2008

Whether or not you support Barack Obama for President, whether or not you like him, whether or not you are joyfully celebrating the fact his Pastor and personal friend Jeremiah Wright is destroying his political career, or crying tears of anguish over Barack’s political demise, you have to admit, Jeremiah Wright is a real self centered S.O.B. for selfishly destroying his friend Barack. No matter what your belief system is, when your close personal friend and committed member of your flock is running for PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, you should RESPECTFULLY tone it down until he wins!

Jeremiah Wright has got to realize he is blowing it for Barack.

The Reverend Jeremiah Wright has been Obama’s spiritual adviser for over two decades and married Obama and his wife Michelle as well as having performed the baptism for Barack’s children. Barack Obama wrote a book called “The Audacity of Hope,” which he confesses is inspired by his pastor and family friend, Reverend Wright.

However, Reverend Wright has been actively putting forth some very radical and controversial statements to the public from his “Holy Pulpit” and at the same time using Barack Obama’s name. Some of Wright’s public, “on the record” recorded speeches include notions like how the U.S. government created the AIDS virus to kill blacks, some 9-11 conspiracy stuff, and basically radical theories that conclude the people of the United States are evil and will be punished by God.

So, say for a minute that you are The Reverend Jeremiah Write… You actually believe in the crazy stuff that you are putting forward. You hate your country and most white people, especially those with money. Now, you have got to realize, to yourself, that you have a mindset that is not only going to be controversial, but also somewhat unpopular with many of your fellow Americans. You are smart enough to realize that your words will not be well received by people outside of your congregation.

You are still The Reverend Jeremiah Write… A young man you have known and been close to for over two decades has done very well in this evil and oppressive anti-black nation of ours. A young man who looks up to you, respects you, and even loves you has achieved the impossible; he has become the leading Democratic candidate for President of the United States. He could be this nation’s next executive leader. He could be in such a powerful position that he could correct some of the problems with this nation that you are so fired up about. He could help to make things right.

What are you going to do?

If you are The Reverend Jeremiah Write, do you tone it down for a year or so, and try to avoid saying things that may be perceived as inflammatory and hateful by many Americans whose votes are needed?

Maybe not. Maybe you think that there are enough prostitute loving Governors out there to distract the media so you can still be a big mouth and not ruin your friend’s chances at becoming President. But I doubt it. I think you realize your words will not go unnoticed.

An Alternative Agenda

Perhaps Jeremiah Wright wants to intentionally derail Barack Obama’s chance at the Presidency. Perhaps by contributing indirectly to Obama’s failure, Jeremiah Wright can then point to how this nation is so anti-Black and unfair, that an incredible man like Barack Obama can’t even get elected President due to the color of his skin.

The old cliché may be worth mentioning now Mr. Obama, with friends like Jeremiah Wright, who needs enemies?
