Cops Continue to Get Away With Brutality

New Orleans police officer Robert Evangelist was caught on tape brutalizing 66-year-old Robert Davis in the French Quarter on Oct. 8, 2005. A television news crew captured the brutality on video of three NOPD officers and two FBI agents piled on Mr. David using what is undeniably excessive force. The video was shown on national television, and from CNN to Fox News viewers expressed a general consensus that the level of police force was beyond what’s necessary. So what happened to the bully cops? All charges against them dropped, a total whitewash, and business as usual in the American police state.

Timeless Dr. Who Tainted by 21st Century Politics

The first interracial kiss on US television, between Uhura and Kirk in Star Trek literally made television history. It was a damn good episode of Star Trek too, one I particularly enjoyed. In the future the human race won’t care about different races within, against the backdrop of the universe, humans will be tiny and skin color or language will seem insignificant. With that said, lets let it happen naturally and stop shoving it down everyone’s throats! The new BBC Dr. Who series looks suspiciously obvious and outright politically motivated to intentionally have nearly every character in an interracial relationship, at least that is what some viewers are commenting on. Are these observations valid?
