In Our Telephone Survey, Our Candidate Leads
“I’m calling to conduct a political survey. In the upcoming election for Nebraska Governor, who do you favor, Dave Heineman or David Hahn?” The unsolicited caller’s name was Peggy, an undisclosed volunteer for the David Hahn campaign. Does a bad volunteer indicate a bad candidate? Probably not. You can’t always help who likes you. How about when a candidate has volunteers conduct a telemarketing campaign under the guise of a political survey in order to persuade potential voters? Now that is the real question, and has been addressed in this angry_squirrel exclusive.
