Supreme Court Sides With Suffering Patients Despite President

Filed under: basic rights and freedom — angry_squirrel January 17, 2006

President Bush doesn’t like an Oregon law allowing doctor assisted suicide. His goal is to harshly punish physicians who assist terminally ill patients suffering by fulfilling their request to end the agony. The good news today is that the Supreme Court sided with patient’s rights and not President Bush. Any politician, Republican or Democrat, has no right to decide for you and me what we are to endure in our final hours of life and when we choose to end our own suffering! Kudos’ to the Supreme Court for their very libertarian ruling and support of this socially advanced Oregon law.

Matthew Koso’s Tragic Celebratory Status

Filed under: basic rights and freedom — angry_squirrel November 18, 2005

Perhaps the Matthew Koso story has already begun integration into American culture, even if in a minor way. When an adult male impregnates an early pubescent teen girl, it may be said, “He pulled a Matt Koso.” The Encyclopedia Wikipedia has an entry for “Matthew Koso.” The blogosphere is alive with Matthew Koso; his story is even being used in reference to discussions on poverty and class. Mainstream media has given Matt, his wife Crystal, and their baby brief celebratory status. Matthew and his family have a very powerful enemy in State Attorney General Jon Bruning who has made it his personal cause to fry Matthew.

Remember, Blogs merely copy the news, reporters get the news, and the angry_squirrel has personally interviewed two individuals who went to school with and know Matthew Koso.

Lynnette (or Lynette, or Lisa Lynnette) Clark, pregnant with her 15-year-old newlywed husband’s baby, finds herself locked up in jail being charged with child molestation. Although Georgia Law gives an exemption to age requirements for marriage when the female applicant is pregnant, this marriage will be nullified. Currently, the facts are very fuzzy since the mainstream media can’t even determine the woman’s actual name, let alone accurately provide details on the situation. This story is reminiscent of what might be called “Bizzaro Matthew Koso“.

Big Bad Bush Busting Hard on File Sharing

Filed under: basic rights and freedom — angry_squirrel October 21, 2005

In a shocking adjustment to an already civil rights crushing law signed by President Bush in April, the Family Entertainment and Copyright Act has been spiked with tougher penalties and prison sentences. A shared folder with a movie will buy you a 40% longer prison term. The MPAA and RIAA are just salivating over their monopolistic control of art and culture in America.

Filed under: basic rights and freedom — angry_squirrel September 8, 2005

Government officials are now forcefully removing stubborn New Orleans residents who wish to stay despite extremely toxic environmental conditions. Some stay to safeguard their home, others to covet their beloved domesticated animals, and still many more fear being sent to horrific holding areas after hearing about the Superdome confinement nightmare. Ultimately, they are stupid to stay, but stay they should if they want. Even Socialists can see that American’s are now witnessing “A dress rehearsal for martial law.”

Meth Law, Who Pays the Price?

Filed under: basic rights and freedom — angry_squirrel August 27, 2005

Allergy season sufferers are saying little about recent restrictions on one of the most effective treatments for their affliction. Sudafed has been identified as a common ingredient in the illegal manufacture of the drug Meth. By restricting the availability of Sudafed, federal and state governments hope to thwart meth makers, bringing a serious drug problem under control. Consumer inconvenience may be acceptable in the fight against a dangerous drug, however, asking consumers to pay more maybe making the wrong people pay the price for Methamphetamine.

She colored them in crayon, love notes from 14 year old Crystal Guyer to 22 year old Matthew Koso. Since then a red ink signed arrest warrant put Matthew behind bars, television’s Dr. Phil has offered the family advice, and Nebraska’s Attorney General has no intention of backing down on pushing criminal prosecution. This is an update to the adult-teen sex story “Jealous Jon,” with details about the young married couple and their families. Colleen Kenney has documented their story from both sides of the issue in a Nebraska newspaper that follows the couple in a brief timeline.

Jealous Jon Bruning Abuses His Position

Filed under: basic rights and freedom — angry_squirrel July 27, 2005

Jon Bruning (Republican) should go preach to his own children and leave Matthew Koso and his 14-year old wife alone. It may be moral abuse to get a 14-year old pregnant, however, it isn’t Nebraska’s Attorney General’s job to legislate morality, because that is an abuse of his power. After all, the girl’s parents did consent and putting the father in the slammer isn’t going to do her or their baby any good.
