Love Versus Law, the Sentencing of Matthew Koso

It could have been worse, but should have concluded much better. Hardnosed Judge Daniel Bryan sentenced Matthew Koso from 18 to 30 months in prison. Nebraska Attorney General Jon Bruning has his victory for law and order. In the name of man’s law he has successfully separated a father from his wife and baby. He has destroyed Matthew Koso’s life, making him a felon, registered sex offender, and soon to be anal rape victim by fellow male inmates in a chaotic prison system. Good work Mr. Jon Bruning, I’m sure many will remember your compassion on Election Day.

Koso Convicted After Changing Plea to Guilty

Convicted of first-degree sexual assault, Matthew Koso faces anything from probation to 50-years hard time in prison. A Nebraska newspaper reporter for the Lincoln Journal Star was unsure why Koso changed his plea from not guilty to guilty. The New York Times reported today Koso’s mother stated the plea change was “because [Matt] was unsure how a jury would decide the case.” The iron fist of Jon Bruning has made full contact and now we wait to find out the extent of government forced family destruction.

Restricted Funding Equals Unbounded Iowa Prison

Officials are looking into how two convicted murderers escaped from the maximum-security portion of the Iowa State Penitentiary. They scaled the limestone walls of the old State Pen in Fort Madison. The now 34-year-old Martin Shane Moon was convicted in Osceola Iowa for shooting his roommate Kevin Dickson back in 2000. And Robert Joseph Legendre, 27, was convicted for kidnapping and murder in the state of Nevada. He was a transfer prisoner.

Connecticut Court Says Sex Risks Injury to a Minor

When a 29-year-old woman had a prolonged sexual relationship with her daughter’s 8-year-old playmate, the woman gets charged with “risk of injury to a minor.” Apparently, a love note from the woman being carried by the 8-year-old boy tipped the boy’s mother off to the perverse relationship. Although Tammy Imre was charged in 2004, she appeared in court late last month and won’t be sentenced until November 4th. Tammy will find herself lucky that Connecticut does not have a Jessica’s Law, meaning she may serve as few as four years in prison.
